About Berty and co

Hello! 
my name is Liberty and I am the artist behind Berty and co. 
I found stained glass while stuck in a corporate job that allowed no time to be creative. I would see videos of stained glass artists at work and I would just itch to get my hands on some glass. 
The first time I tried; I failed miserably but when I quit my job I found myself with time and years of pent-up creative energy ready to explode. So I tried again. I loved it. 
I have always been an artist: beading, watercolors, sewing, cross-stitch, paper crafts; but none of them have ever come close to the love I have for stained glass. 
I am a disabled, audhd, mother of an autistic child, and wife to an autistic husband. Accommodating myself and my neurodivergent family has only been made possible by my work as a full-time artist. I am forever grateful to stained glass, the stained glass community, my partner, and of course, anyone and everyone who has purchased from me and followed my journey, for making my dreams a reality.
